The Problem:
Male Mogul Initiative, a nonprofit organization empowering communities of color in Chicago, was doing hard and important work in their community. They put a lot of time and effort into their cause, but wanted to increase awareness and reach a broader audience. They wanted to find a better way to communicate their message to the masses, but weren’t sure how.
The Solution:
The team at Stratos worked with them to improve their website and create a lead-generation strategy to draw their audience in. Working together, we prioritized a website with clear and empowering messaging, which serves as a landing page and informational platform. The lead-generation strategy included eight monthly social media posts, two emails, and ads. This approach allowed their audience to be drawn in and nurtured, creating a consistent and informative relationship. It covered all their digital marketing bases, allowing them to focus more on their direct programs.
The Success :
Male Mogul’s marketing package broadened their reach and allowed them to cultivate a trusting relationship with their audience. This approach effectively involved donors and clients in their story, encouraging greater engagement. They saw an initial audience size and engagement rate increase, generating 315 leads at $3.95 per lead. Once an individual’s email address was acquired, they were added to a regular email schedule, with reports showing email open rates between 34% and 39%.
Additionally, in just seven months, Male Mogul gained 570 followers organically, without any paid ads. These followers have actively engaged with Male Mogul’s content at high rates. In seven months, they received 6,744 reactions, 400 comments, 411 shares, and 991 clicks. With this successful marketing strategy, Male Mogul can continue its impactful work in the community, confident that it is effectively reaching and nurturing a larger audience.
